Has lockdown made you want to move? Maybe you want a change of scenery? The good news is, there’s no need to delay the hunt for your new home!
Since the first lockdown back in March, our team have been busier than ever welcoming 683 new tenants into their new X1 homes.
If you are a little hesitant to move during lockdown, we’re here to reassure you that it’s business as normal here at X1 Lettings.
The safety of our tenants, customers and team members is our number one priority and that is why we have gone above and beyond to ensure 100% safety at all times.

Appointment Only
As much as we love welcoming our tenants and customers into our offices for a little cuppa & a chat, we have had to put a temporary hold on this due to COVID restrictions. Therefore, if you do want to pop into the office and speak with a member of the team, please call in advance and make an appointment with our team.
That way we can ensure strict social distancing measures in our office ahead of your arrival.
Socially distanced viewings
You’ll be safely welcomed to view our properties with a member of the Viewings & Enquiries team. We’ll request that you wear a face covering and adhere to social distancing government guidelines wherever possible. We can provide you with PPE if needed.
Virtual viewings
First, our Viewings & Enquiries team will offer you a virtual viewing of any property you are interested in. You can view multiple apartments without having to leave your sofa! You can either book your new home, or arrange an in-person viewing if you wish to pursue the listing further.
Online Process
At X1, you can complete all of the steps required to make your move online – even pre COVID! Application forms, referencing and tenancy agreements can all be completed and signed online. We won’t need you to visit the office until it’s time to collect your keys!
Remote move ins
Collecting your keys couldn’t be easier, or safer! You’ll make a pre-arranged appointment with your Tenancy Care Manager and meet them in our office. We welcome appointments only, therefore you don’t have to worry about unnecessary contact with others.
A member of staff will sit you at the front of the office, with plenty of distance from the rest of the team. We’ll check your tenancy documents are signed, rent is paid, then hand over the keys to your new home!
Professional deep cleans
Our Property Managers have rolled out daily professional, deep cleans of all our communal areas in every X1 building. Each communal area, corridors, entrances, social spaces and lifts will be deep cleaned every day.
After each move out, our team of cleaners carry out an intense clean of each apartment to ensure that it is COVID secure and left brand spanking new and sparkly!
