Do I have to pay a deposit to secure my apartment?

To secure a room a deposit of £350 is payable on the booking process and is protected by the DPS. Reposit is available and is capped at one week’s rent – we would encourage you to discuss this with a member of the team.

What is the council band of X1 The Campus' student flats?

The Campus is in council tax band E – however, students are exempt from paying council tax whilst in full-time education.

Are bills included?

Yes, all bills are included for The Campus’ student residents.

What is the EPC band of X1 The Campus' apartments?

X1 The Campus has an EPC grade B-C.

What are the tenancy details?

Lease Agreement Terms with X1 Sales & Lettings

  1. Deposit Protection: Your one-month deposit is securely entered into a government-protected scheme (DPS), ensuring the safety and protection of your deposit throughout the tenancy.
  2. Reposit Option: Alternatively, choose Reposit with a cap at one week’s rent, providing a flexible and cost-effective alternative for securing your accommodation.
  3. Tenancy Agreement Modification Fee: A nominal fee of up to £50 may be applied if you wish to make changes to the tenancy agreement, ensuring transparency and facilitating any necessary modifications.
  4. Late Rent Payment Interest: In the event of late rent payment, an interest fee, calculated at a rate of 3% above the Bank of England’s base rate, may be applied to encourage timely payments.
  5. Early Termination Costs: Should you choose to terminate the tenancy agreement prematurely, you may be responsible for any unpaid rent or reasonable costs associated with the early termination, ensuring a fair and clear framework for such circumstances.
