On-site Gym Facilities

Many X1 student buildings include access to modern fitness suites that are included within your rent. This gives you the chance to stay active without paying for a separate gym membership. Our on-site gyms include:

Access is simple: use your secure door fob whenever you want to work out. All of our buildings are also located close to excellent local amenities and green spaces for additional exercise options.

Cinema Rooms: some developments include comfortable cinema rooms where you can unwind with films and TV shows. These areas are ideal for hosting movie nights or relaxing with friends after a long day of studying.

Games Rooms: several of our properties provide games rooms that feature pool tables, ping pong and vending machines. These spaces are designed to help you enjoy downtime and make the most of your time at university.

Yes. All cluster flats and studios come fully furnished.

Is parking available?

Parking is available at select properties for an additional charge.

What is included in a cluster flat?

Cluster flats include a bed, mattress, desk, chair, storage and plenty of sockets and lighting. Shared kitchens come with an oven, fridge, freezer, microwave and kettle. Some flats also include a washing machine and dryer.

What is included in a studio apartment?

Studios offer a private kitchen with essential appliances, a double bed, storage and an ensuite bathroom. Most studios also include a washing machine.

Can I view the room before booking?

Yes. All listings include high-quality photos and 3D virtual tours so you can explore the room style before arranging a viewing.

Do I need to pay for a gym membership?

No. Gym access is included at buildings that provide this facility.

Do all X1 buildings have on-site gyms?

Not every location includes a gym, but many of our Manchester, Salford and Liverpool buildings do. You can check the property listings to confirm which sites offer fitness facilities.

Can I choose my flatmates?

If you and your friends apply together, we can support group bookings and will do our best to place you in the same flat or building, depending on availability. Dual occupancy is also available in selected room types. Please check the individual student development details to see whether this option is offered.
